Cappuccino Chocolate Chip Muffins


The secret to making cappuccino flavored muffins is instant coffee - so use the one you would like to drink!

"Frosting" is made with a base of cream cheese (Italian-style mascarpone was used for this purpose), placed in a piping bag with the smallest piping nozzle, then let your imagination run wild! The original recipe called for slicing the muffins into two and spreading the cheese in the middle (a "muffin sandwich", if you like), but as always its entirely up to the baker's discretion on how the end products will look like ofcourse!
