Melb-Syd Coastal Drive : Batesman's Bay

[ Still with the scenic coastal route - this roadtrip is truly for nature lovers! ]

After passing through the coastal towns of Eden, Bega, Narooma, Moruya and Mogo is Batesman's Bay. The town is accustomed to transient tourists and hence caters very well to such needs. Just a couple of minutes away from the quiet water is a commercial area, not too big, but enough to hold its audience to a typical spending spree.

Nightlife though would not be busy, especially weekdays, but the constant traveller would find that this is a typical case for towns like this anyway. Unfortunately the lone bar closed at between 930-10pm, so better stash the alcohol if you prefer to have a bit of a gargle.

Did you end up going to Jervis Bay? Now that's a nice spot!

Scribe's Notes

This pitstop is where incoherent ramblings seem to have meaning, where things or events are thought of and assessed, where great things are documented and perhaps any not-so-good happenings are written down in attempt to be forgotten!

So from the diversely abstract to the intensely specific, it's off to making tracks, and it is here where it stops for a thought or two.
